Sitting in Ford’s 2011 SEMA booth, might be one of the most important Ford of all times, but that won’t stop most SEMA Show attendees from walking right by it. Sitting on a container high above the show floor, is the red #1 1967 Ford GT40 Mark IV, but with all the glitz and booth babes most show, most attendees have their eyes a little lower than iconic Ford. As a result  most don’t even notice the Le Mans winner amid the sea of latest…

Mopar 2012 Jeep Mighty FC Concept Gallery

I’ve always been a fan of the Jeep Forward Control and the Ford Econoline light pickup trucks from the 1960’s. Its not often we see a concept vehicle that recreates the iconic style of its legendary predecessor so well, but the Jeep’s Might FC manages to do just that. The design team started with a 2012 Wrangler Rubicon and repositioned the cabin over and ahead of the front axle, lengthened the wheelbase, and added a custom built drop-side cargo box. The cab utilizes a roof from the Mopar JK-8 conversion…

First Leaked Images of Jeep Might FC and J-12 Pickup Concepts Prior to Moab

Moab has become the Auto Show of choice for Mopar and Chrysler to unleash their hottest new concepts that hint to the future for the rugged off road brand. This year Jeep is not disappointing. They continue to build a frenzy of support for a Jeep based pickup truck that is liable to debut in late 2014 as a 2015 model, when the Wrangler gets refreshed. This shot from Automobile‘s Phil Floraday’s Twitter account shows that the Mighty FC is truly a Jeep’s answer for the Unimog, thought production in the States in…
